Here you will learn about the true history of the United States of America, issues of common law, founding documents, acts of Congress, Supreme Court decisions, and State laws regarding the sovereign power of the people, the necessity of the militia, the right to keep and bear arms, the freedom of speech and right to assemble.
Every politician, soldier and law enforcement officer swear or affirm an Oath to uphold and defend the Constitution. Yet, many such persons lack an understanding of the complete text of that document, including its amendments. While our Constitution is our social compact granting specific privileges and authorities to our national government and its agents, it also provides for explicit protections against any infringement of our rights and freedoms.
Enforcement of our Constitution is not however left to only those persons who have taken such an Oath. It is in fact every American's duty and moral obligation to both understand this contract and prevent its terms from being violated. Our basic course will introduce you to the militia, including its history and purpose which can be summarized as the body of the people, sufficiently armed and trained to provide for the enforcement of the laws of our Union, thereby securing our liberty.
We hope that our course materials will help dispel many myths regarding the militia and provide a minimum basic understanding of your individual obligations as an American to uphold and defend the principles of our guaranteed Republic.
We will also introduce you to a suggested framework for the restoration of the militia across the United States and the services provided by the American Militia Association designed to support and promote a well organized militia.
For those seeking certification with the American Militia Association, you will be required to pass an examination pertaining to items within our basic course. A firm understanding and knowledge of the fundamental elements in the basic course will provide you with the necessary foundation of principles when making the decision to form or join a local militia group. Certification is also required to qualify to receive advanced training and services offered by the Association and its partners.
