This group provides for the representation, coordination and communication of and between more than 3,000 States' Counties, Alaskan Boroughs and Louisiana Parishes across the United States. The group consists of regional representatives elected or otherwise appointed in accordance with the establsihed guidelines of the registered members of their communities.
Article II Section
6.
The Association shall establish a National Committee of
Safety and Information which shall consist of the Representatives of each
County, Borough or Parish who shall have the principal duty of assessing the
level and quality of training and arms being provided to the people by the
Association and the effectiveness of the Association's policies and programs
within their communities.
Article IV Section 1(b).
The National Committee of Safety and Information shall annually evaluate the performance of the Board of Advisors
in terms of the skills, experience, contributions and standing of its members in order to identify ways to improve their effectiveness through the recommendation of either the removal or addition of Advisors and/or Advisory groups to the Board of Directors.
Article IV Section 1(e)(2).
All members of the National
Committee of Safety and Information shall be entitled to one authenticated vote
for or against removal of a Director, initiated by a Section 1(e) hearing,
which shall be counted and verified by the Board of Advisors. The count in favor and opposed to removal
shall then be relayed to the Board of Directors.
