The American Militia Association supports "We the People", the true sovereign rulers of the United States, and the militia as it was well understood to be defined by the founders of the Constitution.

We are bound by law to educate you with only the truth as well as arm you with the tools necessary to protect and defend your rights, against all enemies, foreign or domestic.

Our requirements to serve the public in this manner is made clear under our Articles of Incorporation which state, "The American Militia Association is incorporated ... exclusively for educational and charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)3 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1954 and its regulations, as they now exist or as they may hereafter be amended for the specific purpose of promoting and enhancing the general welfare of communities across the United States as an agency for education, research, public safety and public service; to operate schools of instruction with a focus on constitutional law, community service, civil defense, disaster preparedness, weapon safety, survival techniques and first responder training; and to operate media stations and networks for the extension of these purposes."

We are NOT a standing army and we have NO political purpose. We are also bound by IRS regulations regarding 501(c)(3) tax exemption to educate and provide direct charitable benefits to the public in the form of community service and public safety without regard to race, color, ethnicity, religious or political affiliation.

The American Militia Association is not a "national militia" and our students and volunteer staff are not "our soldiers". We have no military command objectives or legal authority to introduce them. We recognize that, in fact, You Are The Militia! - unless specifically exempted by law.

A closer look at our four exclusive purposes reveal the following:

Education - We have an extensive curriculum that starts with our basic course which covers important topics regarding our nation's founding and the role of the militia. The basic course is FREE for individuals who earn less than 150% of the federally established poverty level and just $25 for all others. This course may be taken online or through a certified training partner or local AMA sponsored facility in your area. Enroll Today!

Research - The American Militia Association regularly investigates violations of the Constitution of the United States and other binding documents which members of Government are duty bound to uphold and defend. The Association also engages in other research projects regarding the effectiveness of training curriculums and equipment used to support local service volunteers. All registered students and certified partners of the Association are welcome to participate in our research programs, provide evidence or claims, or make use of our secure online research tools.

Public Saftey - The American Militia Association actively organizes and trains local individuals and groups providing voluntary public safety services which include auxillary policing, fire fighting, search and rescue operations with or without K-9 support, Community Emergency Response Teams, Neigborhood Watches and detective agencies in order to lessen the burdens of government.

Public Service - We provide direct charitable benefits to individuals and organizations, inluding financial grants to obtain the skills and materials necessary for their public saftety duties.
