The American Militia Association is proud to announce that we have acquired an FCC license for our very own FM radio station. The official call sign for our radio station is WHYU-LPFM. This call sign was selected to bring attention to the Association's slogan, "You Are The Militia". Our radio station will do its part to answer "WHY yoU" have the duty to serve your community in the defense of life and liberty and in the enforcement of local laws. Radio Station Content:

As we are a nonprofit and educational organization, our primary purpose for the station is to host shows that further your knowledge about the history and current state of our nation. We will air daily news and talk show programs generated locally and across the nation with feeds from patriots of the New Colony Network, Liberty Radio Network, American Freedom Radio Network and others. We also have a genre of songs and other recordings that we classify as 'Patriotic'. After 10PM ET, we do allow the airing of content with some explicit lyrics that you won't hear on many FCC licensed stations. This is a clear exercise of our rights protected by the first Amendment to the Constitution of the United States and supreme court decisions.

If you are interested in hosting your very own radio show on our station, we will be able to work with you to bring in your program live from any remote location or even recorded and uploaded to our station for your assigned time slot. Hosts must agree to refrain from airing any commercial advertisements and shows set to air between 6:00 AM and 10:00 PM (Eastern Time) are prohibited from using any profanity or sexually explicit content.

Funding:

The FCC does restrict us from being able to air traditional commercial radio announcements on our over-the-air signal, but does allow for underwritten sponsorship messages. There are no restrictions on advertisements from nonprofit organizations and no restrictions on the types of advertising that can be broadcasted on our Internet stream or appear on our radio station's website. We invite anyone wishing to sponsor the station to contact us to make arrangements.
